Three People Hospitalized After Multiple-Vehicle Accident

Three people have been hospitalized after a three-car accident in Verona.

Details about the Car Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that three people have been sent to the hospital after a three-vehicle accident in Verona.

The accident happened just after 9 a.m. on Thursday on US 42 near Miller-Owens Road.

According to police, Timothy Fist, of Verona was driving southwest on US 42 in a pickup truck when he crossed over the center line in the median and hit Patsy Lewis, of Warsaw. The man then continued on down US 42 and then collided head-on with another vehicle being driven by Karrie Weaver, from Dry Ridge. One of the vehicles overturned in that collision.

Weaver was transported to the hospital via helicopter and Fist was taken by ground to University Hospital in Cincinnati. Lewis was taken by ground to St. Elizabeth Edgewood Hospital.

None of the drivers were reported to have sustained life-threatening injuries at the time of the accident.
