Three People Injured in Collision Involving a Taxi and a Fire Truck

A multi-vehicle collision in West Palm Beach left three people injured late Saturday morning.

WPTV News in West Palm Beach has reported that a West Palm Beach Fire Rescue Spokesman said that three people were injured after a multi-vehicle accident involving a fire truck.

According to officials, the fire engine was hit by a taxi after the taxi got into an accident with another vehicle. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on January 23 at the intersection of Florida Mango and Belvedere Road.

Firefighters had to extract the taxi driver from the vehicle where he was then transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

No firefighters were hurt in the accident.
