Three People Injured in Green Bay Rollercoaster Accident
Three people were injured while on a rollercoaster in Green Bay.
Details about the Rollercoaster Accident
According to Green Bay Fire Department Lieutenant Cody Jonson, the accident happened on Monday afternoon at the city-owned Bay Beach Amusement Park. Johnson stated that one of the trains on the Zippin Pippin ride apparently ran into another train on the ride.
Johnson also stated that the three people who were injured in the accident were all unconscious when they were transported to the hospital. Their current conditions are unknown at this time.
The director for the Green Bay parks stated that two workers and one rider were hurt in the accident. The ride was inspected at the start of the season and daily by parks workers. No other details were made available at this time, and the accident currently remains under investigation.
