Three people were killed in a four-vehicle accident that happened in Hancock County.

Details About the Fatal Accident

Multiple sources are reporting that a four-vehicle accident along Interstate 10 along the Mississippi-Louisiana state line in Hancock County took the lives of three people.

Jim Faulk, the coroner of Bay St. Louis, told local media that two people were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident on Monday evening, and that a third person was pronounced dead after they were transported to University Medical Center in New Orleans.

At this time, the coroner has not released the names of the people who were killed in the accident.

A spokesman from the Mississippi Highway patrol has stated that the three people who were killed in the vehicle were hit from behind by an 18-wheeler and were pushed into another big rig that was in front of them. The car was then hit by a fourth vehicle.
