Three Students Injured in Ariz. School Bus Crash

Three students were injured after a school bus was struck by a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel, says a report from AZ Central. The school bus rolled four times after it was struck by the car.

About the Ariz. School Bus Crash

The school bus was traveling on U.S. 60 toward Aguilar, Ariz. at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. A driver of a vehicle had fallen asleep at the wheel and veered into the path of the bus causing the school bus to roll over four times. The bus was near milepost 99 near Wickenburg, Ariz. when the accident occurred.

Three students suffered injuries in the crash. One student was flown to a nearby hospital, and two were taken by ambulance for what is reported as non-life-threatening injuries.

Initial reports said the driver of the car appeared to be trapped. The condition of the driver is currently unknown.
