Three Women Killed in Single-Vehicle Accident in Warren County

Multiple sources are reporting that three women were killed in a single-vehicle accident on Thursday in Warren County.

Details about the Fatal Accident in Warren County

The latest fatality was the driver of the car at the time of the accident, and had to be freed from the wreckage. She was taken to the Morristown Medical Center after the accident.

The accident initially happened at about 4:50 p.m. on Thursday near mile marker 9.1 in the Blairstown Township.

The other two female passengers who were killed in the wreck were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

The accident happened when the women were in a 2001 Toyota Celica that drove off the roadway and hit a tree and the wooded median.

At the time, authorities have not released the names or ages of any of the victims pending notification of next of kin, according to Sergeant Jeff Flynn who is a spokesman for the state police.
