ABC 7 New York is reporting that four people, including two children, were injured in an accident that involved two SUVs in Brooklyn on Monday morning.

According to police in Brooklyn, the accident happened near the intersection of Utica Avenue and Rutland Road in East Flatbush, just before 9:15 a.m. Police have indicated that a stolen Chevrolet Tahoe was heading north on Ramsen Avenue, when it ran a red light and hit a Pathfinder that was heading west on Rutland Road, sending the Pathfinder crashing into a home.

Both a Nanny and a 10-month-old boy were hit by flying debris. Witnesses have said that the Tahoe flipped over and hit a mother who was pushing her baby in a stroller. The woman and the baby stroller were trapped underneath. At this time, the mother remains in critical condition, but the baby in the stroller was uninjured.

The suspected driver of the Tahoe was taken into custody at the scene of the accident.
