Two Dead, Two More Injured in Trenton Crash

Two people have died and two others have been injured following an accident in Trenton on Friday night.

Details about the Fatal Accident in Trenton

According to KCII News in Trenton, two people died and two others were injured after one of the vehicles was t-boned.

The accident happened around 5:30 p.m. on Highway 121 near County Road 4601.

Trenton Police Captain Kevin Mayberry says that James and Sherry Bunce were with their grandchild when they were pulling out of their driveway onto Highway 121 and were suddenly hit by another car that was heading north.

Both James and Sherry were pronounced dead at the scene, while their grandchild was airlifted to Children’s Hospital in Dallas. The child was released Saturday night.

The driver of the other vehicle, off duty Anna Police Officer Rush Smith, remains at Baylor McKinney with non-life threatening injuries. The accident remains under investigation.
