Two Injured in Corpus Christi Motorcycle Accident

Two people have been hospitalized following a motorcycle accident that occurred on the Southside of Corpus Christi Sunday evening.

Details of the Motorcycle Accident

KRIS-TV reports that crash occurred on Saratoga Boulevard near Staples Street around 5 pm.

Preliminary reports indicate a minivan exiting the HEB Plus parking lot pulled out in from of the motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle was unable to avoid the van and struck the vehicle.

Both the operator of the motorcycle and his female passenger were injured in the incident. The woman sustained severe head injuries.

Investigations into the accident continue.
