Two people were injured in a weekend rollover accident in San Antonio.

KSAT 12 News is reporting that two people were injured in a rollover accident that happened on the west side of San Antonio, according to San Antonio police.

The San Antonio police report that the accident happened at about 2 a.m. on Saturday near the intersection of Zarzamora and Satillo Street. Police say that a man and a woman were the occupants of the vehicle but are unsure which of them was driving at the time of the accident.

According to police, the driver of the compact vehicle was speeding when the car hit a set of railroad tracks, which caused the car to go airborne. The driver of the vehicle then lost control of the car and rolled over several times. The vehicle cut a telephone pole in half on impact and then hit a metal road sign before coming to a stop.

The man in the vehicle was treated for his injuries at the scene of the accident, and the woman was transported to the hospital in serious but stable condition.
