Details about the Fatal Accident

The Houston Chronicle is reporting that a driver and a sewer worker were both killed in a double fatal accident that happened in Montgomery County on Tuesday, when the driver of the vehicle pinned the sewer worker between the worker’s truck and his vehicle.

According to police, the employee was working along the southbound feeder road of US 59 near FM 1314, just after 3 p.m. on Tuesday when a driver of a vehicle drover across the traffic cones and hit the back end of the worker’s pump truck. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the worker was standing behind his truck and was cleaning sewer lines at the time of the accident.

Witnesses of the accident told police that the driver, in his Chevrolet Cobalt, disregarded the traffic cones before he hit the employee.
