Two people were critically injured in an accident involving a car and a school bus in Watts.

Details about the Accident Involving the School Bus

ABC 7 News is reporting that two people were critically injured and a 12-year-old child suffered minor injuries in a car accident involving a passenger car and a school bus in Watts on Thursday.

According to the Los Angeles Fire Department, the accident happened just before 7:30 a.m. at the 1500 block of 103rd Street in Watts. The fire department further elaborated that two of the people who were in the vehicle at the time of the accident were taken to local hospitals in critical condition.

A 12-year-old girl who was on the school bus at the time of the accident was also taken to the hospital. According to officials, the girl suffered minor injuries and was listed in fair condition.

At this point in the investigation, the exact cause of the accident is not known.
