Two San Antonio Women Seriously Injured in 18-Wheeler Accident

News 4 San Antonio is reporting that two women had to be rescued from the wreckage of their vehicle after they crashed into a tractor trailer on the west side of San Antonio on Sunday.

Details about the Accident

According to police, the accident happened at about 1 a.m. on Sunday morning at Loop 410 and Marbach Road. The two women were driving north on Loop 410 and they said that they didn’t notice that an 18-wheeler that was driving in front of them had slowed down.

The driver of the vehicle slammed on the brakes, but not soon enough. The impact caused they vehicle to become trapped under the trailer.

Both of the women were transported to University Hospital in serious condition; they are currently stable at this time.

The driver of the 18-wheeler was not injured in the accident.
