Two Texas Workers Injured in Gas Explosion
A gas explosion in Frio County, Texas injured two people on Monday afternoon.
Details about the Gas Explosion
The accident happened on Monday afternoon at about 3:30 p.m. at the SouthCross Energy Plant in Frio County. According to Sergeant Jerry Reyna of the Frio County Sheriff’s office, two of the employees at the plant were injured.
One of the men involved in the accident was transported to a hospital in San Antonio. Information about his condition was not readily available. The other person involved in the accident was taken to another hospital close to the area, and is expected to be okay.
Sergeant Reyna says that at this point in the investigation, it is unclear what factors led to the gas explosion at the plant.
