Farren Washington2 years ago

Two young women were killed, and a third was critically injured in a fatal crash at an intersection in Northeast Dallas early Saturday morning.

About the Fatal Crash

According to WFAA, Dallas Police and Firefighters were dispatched to Jupiter Road and E. Northwest Highway at about 6:47 a.m. regarding a major accident. Upon arrival, officers observed a two-vehicle crash with two female victims.

The victims were identified as Aide Garduno and Veronica Elizabeth Moreno, both nineteen. Friends of the victims stated that they attended Conrad High School together.

An older woman in the other vehicle was taken to the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in critical condition. The cause of the accident is still being investigated.

Authorities Investigate The Accident

Investigators learned that the white Chevrolet Impala Impala was driving eastbound on the 11300 block of Northwest Highway, when it crossed over the median and slammed full-force into a grey Toyota Camry driving westbound.

The two cars had major front-end damage. One of the cars flipped after the collision. Investigators were on the scene for about two hours, surveying the damage and clearing the scene. Shards of glass littered the sidewalk, and orange marks appeared to illustrate how the crash happened.
