Regulators Investigate Fiat

According to Reuters, U.S. auto safety regulators have “tentatively concluded” that Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV did not properly fix the safety defects in the time they were supposed to fix them.

Additionally, they did not notify car owners of the recalls or inform federal officials on ongoing issues.

Fiat Chrysler could be charged with $700 million in fines in addition to having to buy back or replace vehicles.
