Vehicle Fatally Strikes Construction Worker in Chester County

A construction worker was killed in Chester County, Pennsylvania Wednesday evening when he was struck by a vehicle on Route 422.

Details of the Chester County Collision

According to NBC 10 in Philadelphia, 60-year-old Lee Boyer of Liberty, Pennsylvania was hit by a vehicle as he was setting up cones at a construction site on Route 422 in North Coventry Township.

The incident occured in the westbound lanes of the highway around 11 pm. The lanes were closed overnight until 4 am the following morning.

An accident reconstruction team is working to determine the cause of the accident. It is unclear whether the driver will face any charges.
