A vigil was held Thursday for four girls who died in a tragic auto accident in Leesburg, Florida on Memorial Day, according to FOX 35.

About the Car Accident

According to the family, when the accident occurred, Latorya Brown and her boyfriend were taking Brown’s five daughters and three others to the beach.

While they were on Interstate 95, a tire on their SUV blew before they flipped several times. Four of the daughters were killed in the accident, leaving the father of the four girls emotional and devastated at the vigil held Thursday night.

15-year-old Amunya Cruz, 13-year-old Niashia Cruz, 10-year-old Nadia Cruz, and Jasmine Cruz were those killed in the accident. Only one daughter in the family survived the accident

A wake will be held at the same church on Saturday. Donations can be made at any Wells Fargo in the country to the Cruz girls memorial fund. Nearly 200 people attended the vigil Thursday night.
