A 21-year-old man was killed on Saturday morning in a single-vehicle rollover accident in Waco.

KWTX News in Waco is reporting that a 21-year-old man has died in a single-vehicle rollover accident that happened Saturday morning.

Police responded to the call of the rollover accident Saturday morning around 6 a.m. When crews arrived on the scene, they found a 2011 Dodge Ram overturned and resting on its roof.

The driver, 21-year-old Estevan Rodriguez-Herrera, was driving East on the 4900 block of Sanger when he lost control of the truck and hit several utility poles, boxes, and another vehicle that was parked on private property, according to police.

Excessive speed is believed to have been the cause of the crash. The victim of the accident was pronounced dead at the scene.
