West Texas Plane Crash Kills One

One person was killed in a small plane accident that happened in West Texas.

Details about the Fatal Accident 

KXXV News is reporting that, according to troopers from the Texas Department of Public Safety, one person was killed in a small airplane crash that happened in Ector County.

Troopers have stated that 46-year-old Ray Chennault, was flying the small plane east when he crashed the Cessna 150 into a concrete silo. Ray Chennault was from Goldsmith, and he was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Authorities have stated that they responded to the scene of the accident on Wednesday evening just before 11 p.m. to calls about an aircraft accident in West Odessa, near the Cemex plant that is located at 16501 West Murphy Street.  

Officials from the Federal Aviation Administration are continuing their investigation into the accident at this time.
