Woman Crashes into Florida Daycare, Injures 4

A woman was charged with reckless driving after crashing into a Florida daycare, injuring four.

About the Incident

Three children suffered minor injuries when 65-year-old Antoaneta Petrova drove into the Floridian Academy of Creative Learning daycare. According to WFLA, she was dropping her off her grandchild when the accident occurred.

The three children suffered scrapes and bruises, and one teacher was sent to the hospital. Petrova was driving with an expired driver’s license and is suspected to have accidently hit the accelerator.

Petrova was charged with reckless driving with an expired license.

Reckless driving can either be intentional or accidental, but generally shows a disregard to traffic rules and safety by failing to adhere to stop signs, improper lane changes, and not looking out for other drivers.
