Woman Killed after Jumping from Stolen Truck

The San Antonio Express-News is reporting that police in Las Vegas have identified the 34-year-old Costa Mesa, California woman who was killed when she jumped from a stolen work vehicle and then dragged beneath it.

Details about the Fatal Accident

The coroner from Clark County reported on Monday that Maricel Param Menina was killed after she suffered from multiple head and chest injuries during the accident that happened on Friday morning. The death of Menina has been ruled an accident.

The driver of the truck, 31-year-old Joshua Cyran and 58-year-old passenger Lawrence Younger Jr. also jumped from the Ford F-450 work truck when a patrol officer pulled up behind the vehicle. Cyran was jailed pending a court appearance on felony vehicle theft, driving under the influence, hit-and-run, and probation violation charges.

Younger is jailed for allegedly failing to register as a sex offender.
