Woman Killed in Collision with 18-Wheeler

The San Antonio Express-News reports that on June 7th, a woman from Magnolia, Texas was killed in a head-on crash with an 18-wheeler.

About the Fatal Magnolia 18-Wheeler Head-On Crash

According to Montgomery County Police Reporter, on June 7th a 24-year-old woman from Magnolia, Texas died in a head-on collision with an 18-wheeler on FM 2978. The woman, Jenna Christine Beasely, was northbound on FM 2978 close 10:20 p.m. Sunday June 7th.

Montgomery County Police Reporter said that Beasely’s Nissan sedan crossed the centerline into the path of a southbound tanker truck that was carrying crude oil. The truck driver was unable to avoid hitting Beasely’s car due to the fact there were guardrails on each side of the road. Beasely was pronounced dead at the scene and taken for an autopsy.

The truck driver was not injured and the truck did not lose its load. However, 100 gallons of diesel fuel spilled from ruptured fuel tanks, which required the presence of a HAZMAT team.
