A woman was killed in a motor vehicle accident that happened in San Antonio.

Details about the Fatal Accident

Fox News San Antonio is reporting that a woman was killed after she crashed her vehicle into a school bus on the northwest side of San Antonio in an accident that happened on Saturday evening.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened just before 9:30 p.m. along Northeast Loop 410 and the exit for Starcrest Drive. Police have further stated that the driver of the pickup truck rear ended a bus, resulting in a portion of the highway having to have been shut down for some time for crews to work the scene of the accident.

Once the medical examiner arrived at the scene of the accident, the victim was identified as 23-year-ol Laura Shampaya, from San Antonio. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
