Woman Killed in Possible DUI Accident in San Antonio

One woman was killed in an accident with a police on the north side of San Antonio.

Details about the Fatal Accident

KSAT 12 News is reporting that a woman in San Antonio was killed in an accident that happened during the overnight hours on the north side of the city. According to police, the accident happened just before 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday night on the 3600 block of West Avenue, wh is not far from the intersection of Nassau Drive.

Police have indicated that the woman was weaving in and out of traffic on West Avenue when she lost control of her vehicle, over-corrected, and then jumped a curb, before she hit a cement light pole.

The woman was transported to University Hospital where she later died. Police have said that they believe both drinking and high speed were factors in the accident. An investigation into the crash remains ongoing at this time.
