Woman Killed in San Antonio Crash

A woman was killed Wednesday morning when her vehicle was struck by a truck at a San Antonio intersection.

About the Fatal San Antonio Crash

According to the San Antonio Express-News, the woman was traveling west on Timber Path around midnight when a Ford F-350 ran a red light at the Tezel Road intersection and hit her vehicle.

The woman was transported to University Hospital for treatment but succumbed to her injuries shortly after arriving to the hospital.

Police report the driver of the truck passed between two stopped vehicles before running the red light. He was treated at University Hospital for minor injuries.

Police do not believe the truck driver was intoxicated at the time of the collision.
