OSHA Investigating Worker's Cause of Death
According ot the Odessa American, the worker, identified Tuesday as Johnny Plasentillo of Midland, was discovered collapsed by a gas line spewing natural gas shortly before 9 pm Sunday.
While Plasentillo’s death is not yet known, deputies did not minor abrasions on his face. Reports indicated that Plasentillo was responsible for visiting various compressor stations to record readings.
An autopsy for Plasentillo was still pending in Lubbock on Tuesday. The Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OSHA) is investigating the incident.
