Eligibility
Non-TJH employees are eligible for bonuses as set out below. If you have a question about specific eligibility, please seek clarification from Recruitment.
Award Amount
The maximum amount for any referral bonus is outlined below.
REFERRAL BONUS AMOUNT
- Senior Attorney – Up to $20,000
- Associate Attorney – Up to $10,000
- Entry Level Attorney – Up to $2,000
Bonus Payment
Referral bonuses shall be paid at the start date of the referred employee
Processing Procedures
- Send the “TJH Referral Program Form” (this form) along with a copy of the resume of the potential applicant to the Recruitment department at recruitment@tjhlaw.com.
- Recruitment will acknowledge receipt and evaluate to confirm the eligibility of the “new” candidate referral.
- Qualified candidates will be pre-screened for hiring eligibility and scheduled for interview.
- Some candidates may not qualify based on the results of their hiring eligibility screen and/or may have fallen into a category illustrated in Terms and Conditions.
- Recruitment is responsible for providing the referring individual with updates about their candidate during the selection process and will notify the referring individual if their candidate does not meet hiring requirements.
- Firm Management provides final approval for bonus payout to referring individual for candidate(s) hired.
- Recruitment will notify referring individual of final disposition of candidate.
Terms & Conditions
- Candidate must be a new candidate. If the candidate has been referred through another channel (a TJH employee, a placement firm, an online posting, or had applied to the company directly prior to Recruitment receiving this form), then your referral does not qualify for bonus.
- Candidate must be hired for a regular full-time position within thirty (30) days of referral date, which is the date that Recruitment receives fully completed copy of this form AND a copy of the candidate’s resume.
- This form must be completed in full and must have attached a copy of the resume of the potential applicant prior to scheduling of any screen or interview.
- Candidate is not qualified if he/she has applied through the firm’s applicant tracking system within the last 12 months or has attended a recruiting function in last 12 months.
- The TJH Referral Program is not retroactive. Only new referrals will be considered for the program.
- By submitting a name, this does not establish a contractual relationship.
- We retain full discretion based on facts involved to determine whether or not a referral fee is paid.
