Adaoma Joyce Ogbonnaya

Ms. Adaoma Joyce Ogbonnaya earned her Juris Doctor from Howard University School of Law in Washington, D.C., following her undergraduate studies at Howard University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry.

Ms. Ogbonnaya brings experience in legal research, litigation support, contract review, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment. During her time with the Urban Innocence Project, she conducted legal research and drafted memoranda, motions, and briefs in state and federal matters. She also reviewed factual records, assisted with issue identification and timeline analysis, and provided litigation support under demanding deadlines.

Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Ogbonnaya worked as an Outreach and Contracts Coordinator, where she drafted, reviewed, and negotiated vendor, promotional, media, and event-related agreements. Her work included analyzing pricing, performance obligations, liability provisions, and other terms to identify potential legal and business risks. She also has experience assisting with regulatory and policy research through the Asian Pacific American Legal Resource Center and supporting legislative advocacy and consumer protection initiatives through the Truth Initiative.

Ms. Ogbonnaya is committed to using her analytical skills, attention to detail, and legal experience to advocate for individuals who have been injured and help them navigate the legal process.
