Andrew G. Garcia

Mr. Andrew G. Garcia received his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School in Brooklyn, New York and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas, where he minored in Theatre Arts.

While attending Brooklyn Law School, Mr. Garcia was recognized with the Silver Pro Bono Award for his service and was named a recipient of both the Lisle Scholarship and the Lark-Barranco Scholarship. He published “The Fairness Agenda: Arbitration Legislation Advances in the Wake of a Critical Report” in Alternatives, a national alternative dispute resolution publication. As a student clinician with the Brooklyn Law Incubator and Policy Clinic, Mr. Garcia advised emerging technology companies on compliance strategy, drafted governance and privacy documents, and worked alongside New York state lawmakers on data privacy legislation and regulatory frameworks.

Mr. Garcia gained substantial litigation experience as a law clerk with a defense firm, where he assisted in defending premises liability, negligent entrustment, negligent employment, breach of contract, and misrepresentation claims on behalf of insurance companies and corporate clients. In that role he drafted pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda, researched and drafted appellate pleadings, and collaborated with attorneys on overall litigation strategy. That experience gives Mr. Garcia direct insight into how insurance companies and their defense counsel evaluate and contest injury claims.

Mr. Garcia later worked in intellectual property and technology transactions for a global financial services firm in New York, managing a high-volume portfolio of technology and vendor agreements from intake and drafting through negotiation and execution, and supporting compliance review across international data privacy frameworks. Earlier in his career, he served as a legal extern with the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution, reporting on developments in arbitration law and observing international arbitration hearings.

Mr. Garcia has focused his practice on the representation of clients injured in car accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability accidents, and workplace accidents. His background in defense litigation, contract negotiation, and legal writing informs the way he builds and presents his clients’ claims.
