Carolyn Perry

Ms. Carolyn Perry earned her Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law. She also holds a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Finance, with honors, from the University of Dallas and a Bachelor of Journalism in Public Relations, with honors, from The University of Texas at Austin.

Ms. Perry brings a combination of legal, financial, and litigation experience to her practice at Thomas J. Henry Law. Prior to joining the firm, she represented creditors in civil litigation, where she negotiated settlements and handled motions, disclosures, nonsuits, and other court filings. She also gained extensive experience reviewing and analyzing documents for complex multidistrict litigation involving opioids, solar energy, and product pricing, including identifying significant documents for hearings, depositions, and trial.

Before becoming an attorney, Ms. Perry worked as a financial consultant supporting a commercial litigation team. In that role, she provided financial analysis and forensic accounting support, reviewed financial models, budgets, ledgers, and financial statements, and assisted with the preparation of economic damages analyses and deposition and trial materials. She also worked with outside financial experts regarding damage modeling, reports, and testimony.

Ms. Perry began developing her legal experience while attending law school through internships with the Dallas City Attorney’s Office and the Dallas County Public Defender’s Office. Her experience included legal research, litigation support, case assessment, pre-trial motions, and assisting with matters involving municipal law, business liabilities, eminent domain, and criminal defense.

Ms. Perry is licensed to practice law in Texas. Her background in financial analysis and litigation provides her with a valuable perspective when evaluating complex legal matters and helping clients navigate the legal process.
