Cynthia C. Offordile

Ms. Cynthia Offordile earned her Juris Doctor cum laude at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal on Gender, Race and Justice and earned Dean’s List recognition. She also holds a Master of Law in Oil and Gas Law from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, and a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice, cum laude, from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

During law school, Ms. Offordile led the African Law Students Association as president, served as a Barbri student ambassador and a school ambassador, and completed training as a certified mediator. She represented clients through the Texas Southern University Legal Clinic in wills, probate, and guardianship matters, conducting client interviews, drafting memoranda and court applications, and interviewing witnesses. She went on to build her foundation in Houston law offices as a paralegal and law clerk, where she drafted demand letters, petitions, motions, and discovery plans, conducted case research on criminal and civil matters, organized exhibits and research for trial, and communicated directly with clients and witnesses throughout case development. She later worked as a legal research analyst, identifying controlling authority on specific legal issues and making detailed qualitative judgments about legal content. That combination of research discipline and direct client contact shapes how she prepares a case today.

As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Offordile represents clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents. She is a certified mediator, a public notary, and a member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Outside of work, she enjoys mentoring, volunteering, traveling, and exploring other cultures.
