Daniel Vaughan

Mr. Daniel Vaughan earned his Juris Doctor at Loyola University New Orleans College of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana, where he graduated in the top third of his class and served as a member of the Loyola Journal of Public Interest Law, the Maritime Society, the Animal Legal Defense Fund Association, and the Tech and Business Law Society. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Marymount California University in Palos Verdes Estates, California, where he was named to the Dean’s List, twice received the Academic Achievement Award in Psychology, and was inducted into the Psi Chi Honors Society and the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society.

During law school, Mr. Vaughan clerked for the Jefferson Parish Public Defenders Office, where he worked directly with clients, researched cases, drafted memoranda used in court, and observed courtroom proceedings throughout the summer. He went on to clerk for a New Orleans plaintiffs’ firm, handling client intake and case meetings while preparing motions, witness and exhibit lists, discovery responses, demand letters, subpoenas, objections, trial books, and mediation books. There he led a client outreach and discovery effort involving more than forty claimants in a large building collapse case, supervising two other law clerks and working directly with the firm’s partners and of counsel to gather information and complete discovery responses. He later served as a petition processor for a Louisiana firm, where he drafted and filed property petitions, analyzed promissory notes, mortgages, and title documents, conducted records research, helped implement the office’s electronic filing procedures, and was promoted to lead processor after training new team members.

As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Vaughan represents clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents.
