Ms. Gabrielle Hutchinson earned her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, after beginning her legal studies at Tulane University School of Law. While at Tulane, she also earned a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies from the Tulane University School of Liberal Arts. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Studies, with a minor in Portuguese, from the University of Utah. In 2020, she was named a Fulbright Scholar and studied in São LuÃs, Maranhão, Brazil.
Before joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Hutchinson was a Staff Attorney in the Consumer Protection Division of a Texas legal aid organization. There she handled a caseload of consumer finance and fraud cases, including deceptive trade practices, real estate fraud, predatory lending, contract disputes, and debt collection matters. She also represented clients in employment disputes, wrote demand letters, motions, pleadings, and discovery requests, and negotiated with creditors, court-appointed receivers, and opposing counsel. In law school, she was a student attorney in the St. Mary’s law clinic, where she argued dispositive motions in Justice of the Peace Court. She also clerked at a San Antonio immigration firm.
Ms. Hutchinson now represents injured clients from Thomas J. Henry Law’s San Antonio office. She is admitted to practice in the Southern and Western Districts of Texas and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
