Ms. Katie Gantenbein earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas A&M University in College Station. She then completed a certificate in Paralegal Studies at Tarrant County College in Arlington. Later, she earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law in Houston, where her coursework included Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Family Law Trial Advocacy and Clinic. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2016.
Ms. Gantenbein started in the legal field as a paralegal at a Central Texas law firm, working on family law cases from intake through resolution. She then joined a Houston plaintiffs’ firm as a law clerk, researching and writing about complex product liability and toxic tort issues and drafting responses to dispositive motions. After becoming licensed, she worked as an associate attorney at the same firm. There she was part of a team representing plaintiffs nationwide in asbestos exposure cases, and she supported other dockets, including pharmaceutical, medical device, consumer protection, and trucking and catastrophic injury cases. She also trained and mentored the firm’s law clerks.
At Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Gantenbein represents individuals and families who have been injured through the negligence of others. She is a member of the Bell County Bar Association.
