Mashal Amber Ali

Ms. Mashal Amber Ali earned her Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Austin College in Sherman, Texas. She went on to Saint Louis University, where she earned her Juris Doctor from the School of Law and her Master of Health Administration from the College of Public Health and Social Justice. While in law school, she received the Academic Excellence Award in Bioethics and the Law. In her graduate program, she placed second in the University of Kansas Medical Center Case Competition.

Ms. Ali’s background combines legal work with healthcare operations. As a summer legal intern with Legal Services of Eastern Missouri, she researched case law and helped prepare appellate arguments in a termination of parental rights case before the Missouri Court of Appeals. She also helped draft memoranda and motions in child separation and domestic violence matters. As a graduate administrative intern at SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital, she analyzed Missouri regulations and prepared a Certificate of Need for a replacement hospital project. She then worked as a staff consultant for a major health information technology company, where she led hospital pharmacy record system implementations. More recently, she worked at a San Antonio law firm, where she drafted contracts and corporate formation documents, filed trademark applications, and researched corporate and health law matters.

At Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Ali represents individuals and families who have been injured through the negligence of others. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. Outside the office, she enjoys cooking, reading, crafting, and traveling.
