Omar D. Stewart

Dr. Omar D. Stewart earned his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School and his Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany, through a joint degree program. He also holds a Doctor of Medicine from All Saints University School of Medicine in Dominica and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland.

Dr. Stewart’s legal experience centers on representing plaintiffs in complex medical malpractice cases involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death. His work includes evaluating medical records, researching standards of care, consulting with physician specialists, retaining medical experts, and handling discovery, depositions, motion practice, jury selection, trials, and settlement negotiations. He has worked on cases involving alleged diagnostic failures, medication errors, surgical complications, and failures to obtain informed consent. Dr. Stewart also completed a clinical externship with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of New York and legal internships with the Albany County District Attorney’s Office and the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority.

Henry Law, Dr. Stewart focuses on representing clients injured in automobile accidents, company vehicle accidents, trucking accidents, premises liability incidents, and workplace accidents.
