Robert Simpson

Mr. Robert Simpson earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence at St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, Texas. He is licensed and in good standing in Texas and New Mexico.

Mr. Simpson brings a research-driven approach to his practice, built on legal analysis, document review, and courtroom experience. As a contract attorney, he conducted legal research across multiple areas of law with a focus on banking compliance, participated in high-level document review supporting ongoing internal investigations, organized and presented research findings to team leaders, and worked within a team to complete high-volume assignments on short deadlines, developing broad familiarity with statutes and regulations across all fifty states and four United States territories. His first courtroom experience came as a legal intern with the Medina County Criminal District Attorney’s Office, where he practiced under a third-year bar card, prepared case memoranda, responded to defense motions, entered pleas in court, analyzed felony evidence, prepared grand jury indictments and misdemeanor informations, presented indictments to the grand jury, and attended trials and plea negotiations. During law school, he served as a research and editorial assistant to a faculty member, conducting extensive archival and legal research, handling sensitive documents under proper research protocol, examining congressional records on voting rights and immigration policy, filing a Freedom of Information Act request, and presenting his findings weekly. Earlier, as a legal research assistant at a Houston university, he compiled and organized comparative legal research intended to inform legislation and presented it to a supervising attorney.

As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Simpson represents clients involved in car accidents, company vehicle accidents, truck accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents. His research and document review background and his experience in criminal court inform how he builds a case record and advocates for his clients at each stage.
