Mr. Ryan L. Palmer earned his Juris Doctor at Loyola University New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in graphic design from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2006 and is also admitted in New York and New Jersey. He holds a Texas real estate license as well.
Mr. Palmer brings nearly two decades of legal, contractual, and business experience to his work. He has served as in-house counsel for an Austin real estate group, where he drafts, reviews, and negotiates purchase agreements, lease contracts, and related legal documents, advises on property acquisitions, zoning, and land use, forms and structures business entities, and oversees corporate governance and regulatory compliance. In that role, he has also guided clients through negotiations, financing, and closings on residential and commercial transactions, including high-value deals, and has coordinated and overseen outside legal counsel on litigation and risk matters. He additionally oversees compliance with fair housing laws, ADA requirements, and brokerage licensing standards. Earlier in his career, he worked as a contract attorney in Austin, reviewing and preparing documents for complex litigation, organizing critical case materials alongside trial teams, and building document review processes under strict deadlines.
Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Palmer is a longtime Austin business owner and operator, an experience that has sharpened his approach to financial analysis, regulatory compliance, team leadership, and direct client service. As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Palmer represents clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents.
