Sanai Brooks

Sanai Brooks earned a Juris Doctor from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas. In law school, Brooks served on the Student Bar Association board as both a 1L and a 2L, was a member of the Mock Trial Team, reached the finals of the 1L mock trial competition, and was a student ambassador. Brooks was also a member of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. Before law school, Brooks graduated cum laude from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, with degrees in Psychology and African American Studies, and was named to the Dean’s List.

As a law clerk, Brooks researched case law for discovery requests and motions, drafted motions, discovery requests, and trial materials, and worked with counsel, experts, and clients through the discovery process. Brooks also worked as a graduate admissions assistant at Thurgood Marshall School of Law, as a long-term substitute science teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District, and as a police psychology intern with the Dallas Police Department.

At Thomas J. Henry Law, Brooks brings trial preparation experience and a strong commitment to service to injury victims and their families in San Antonio and across Texas. Brooks has volunteered with Project Angel Food, assembling meals for Los Angeles residents with serious illnesses, and with A New Way of Life Reentry Clinic, helping prepare declarations for formerly incarcerated people.
