Steven Lee Akins

Mr. Steven Lee Akins earned his Juris Doctor from Texas A&M University School of Law. Before law school, he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University. That background in finance and business still shapes the practical, client-focused way he handles each case.

Akins started his legal career at a civil litigation firm in Memphis, Tennessee. There he represented clients in personal injury, medical malpractice, and contract disputes. He managed discovery, took and defended depositions, handled court filings, and prepared and argued motions in multiple courts. He later spent more than a decade in business leadership, owning and running companies across Texas and other states. That work gave him deep experience in client consultations, contract review, regulatory compliance, and team leadership.

At Thomas J. Henry Law, Akins draws on both his litigation experience and his years of working directly with clients to advocate for injured people and their families. He is committed to clear, empathetic communication and to guiding clients through every stage of their case.
