Tracee Darby

Ms. Tracee Darby earned her Juris Doctor at the University of Mississippi School of Law in Oxford, Mississippi. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. She has been licensed to practice law in Mississippi since 2000 and in Texas since 2015, and she is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Northern Districts of Texas and the Southern and Northern Districts of Mississippi.

Ms. Darby brings more than two decades of litigation and case management experience to her work. She began her career as a staff attorney for a standing Chapter 13 bankruptcy trustee, where she appeared weekly in federal court representing the trustee’s interests across a docket of more than fifty cases, provided case confirmation recommendations to the court, conducted trials on issues raised in debtor cases, drafted trustee pleadings, and led monthly compliance reviews of hundreds of debtor files. She went on to own and manage her own law practice for more than twenty years, first in Mississippi and later in the Dallas metroplex, representing clients through all phases of proceedings. In that role she conducted client intake interviews and consultations, prepared clients and witnesses for hearings and trials, drafted and filed notices, motions, responses, and orders, appeared at court and motions hearings, negotiated with creditors to secure repayment terms and financial relief, and argued complex matters before the court. Her practice has spanned bankruptcy, family law, probate, and personal injury litigation, along with contract interpretation and regulatory compliance work.

As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Darby represents clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents.
