Wesley Williams

Mr. Wesley Williams earned his Juris Doctor at the University of Houston Law Center in Houston, Texas, where he reached the semifinals of the Hippard Novice Mock Trial Competition and served as a 1L section representative and peer mentor for the Student Bar Association. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in government from The University of Texas at Austin, where he served on the President’s Task Force on Undergraduate Retention Rates and held positions in Student Government and the School of Undergraduate Studies Council. He has been licensed to practice law in Texas since 2016.

Mr. Williams brings nearly a decade of Texas transactional and commercial practice to his work. He spent more than four years as an associate with a San Antonio firm, representing developers and equity investors in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing, and sale of commercial properties across the state, advising on corporate governance matters for corporations, limited liability companies, limited partnerships, and professional associations, drafting shareholder, company, joint venture, and investment agreements, and facilitating business acquisitions, dispositions, exchanges, and mergers. He served as outside corporate counsel to local and regional companies, handling contract drafting and review. He later joined another San Antonio firm representing developers and investors in commercial real estate matters in Texas and Florida, and then served as vice president of legal for a San Antonio development company, reviewing and revising purchase agreements, letters of intent, industrial leases, loan documents, and construction contracts. He also owns and operates his own San Antonio law practice. Earlier, as a law clerk with a Houston energy company, he reviewed oil and gas leases, prepared regulatory filings and permit applications with the Texas Railroad Commission, and researched land title and compliance questions.

As an attorney with Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Williams represents clients involved in car accidents, truck accidents, company vehicle accidents, workplace accidents, and premises liability accidents. He served as treasurer of the San Antonio Young Lawyers Association and as a director of the organization, graduated from the Real Estate Council of San Antonio’s Leadership Development Program, and co-authored a paper for the State Bar of Texas Advanced Real Estate Law Course. He was recognized as a Rising Star Lawyer by SA Scene Magazine. Outside the office, he enjoys fishing, weight training, ballroom dance, and boutique board games.
