Xavier Refuge

Mr. Refuge earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law in San Antonio, Texas, in 2024. He also holds a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice: Business Administration from American Military University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from American Military University.

Before joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Refuge gained legal experience working on personal injury, criminal, military, federal, veterans, and administrative law matters. As a law clerk, he drafted legal orders, petitions, and memoranda for personal injury and criminal cases and assisted with client communication and case records.

Mr. Refuge also served as a Senior Research Fellow with the Warrior Defense Project, where he conducted research into federal, state, and military law and policies and assisted attorneys with client matters. His prior experience includes work with the San Antonio Legal Services Association and as a legal assistant and paralegal handling personal injury matters.

In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Refuge has served in the United States Marine Corps as a Reconnaissance Man and Team Leader. In that role, he has drafted operating procedures, patrol orders, and military training plans and provided briefings to military and political leadership.

Mr. Refuge is committed to using his legal experience and background to advocate for individuals and families dealing with the consequences of serious accidents and injuries.
