2021 Thomas J. Henry Turkey Giveaway Happening This Saturday, November 20!
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX (November 15, 2021) – Texas attorney and philanthropist Thomas J. Henry will once again be giving away thousands of Thanksgiving turkeys this Saturday, November 20, as part of his firm’s annual Turkey Giveaway. To ensure the safety of our staff and event participants as well as to facilitate a streamline process that better serves those receiving turkeys, this year’s Turkey Giveaway will again be drive-thru only!
As always, the event remains free to the public and the firm will still be offering pick-up locations in four different cities; however, following the success of last year’s drive-thru event, Thomas J. Henry has decided to again hold the main event at Fairgrounds Field Stadium in Robstown rather than at the firm’s Starr Street office in Corpus Christi.
Rules for the drive-thru event are as follows:
- One (1) turkey per adult in vehicle with a maximum of three (3) turkeys per vehicle.
- No walk-ups allowed.
- All participants must remain in their vehicles at all times.
- Make sure your trunk is empty before arriving.
- Do not arrive more than one hour before the event.
The special giveaway for pre-approved churches and non-profit organizations will take place Friday, November 19 at the firm’s office in downtown Corpus Christi.
Thomas J. Henry started the Turkey Giveaway in Corpus Christi, Texas more than 20 years ago. Over the years, additional pickup locations were added in Alice, San Diego, and Freer in order to accommodate even more South Texas residents. In fact, more than 350,000 people throughout the South Texas region have been impacted by this generous event, making the Thomas J. Henry Turkey Giveaway one of the largest Thanksgiving charity events in the nation.
