Thomas J Henry Surprises Austin Nonprofit Organizations with Matching Donation

AUSTIN, TEXAS – JAN. 28, 2020 – Today, Philanthropist and Attorney Thomas J. Henry originally announced he would donate over $160,000 to three local nonprofit organizations who benefited from “Austin Elevates,” at a special press conference and check presentation at the Four Seasons Hotel – Violet Crown Room (98 San Jacinto Blvd, Austin, TX 78701).

At the event, Mr. Henry made a surprise announcement and matched the total amount raised for each individual nonprofit organization, bringing the overall total presented to $327,720.

“Austin Elevates” was an immersive two-day art and music experience, created by Mr. Henry, which took place November 8-9, 2019. He donated all proceeds to three benefiting local nonprofit organizations, the SAFE Alliance, Superhero Kids as well as St. David’s Foundation Community Fund.

“Following the success of Austin Elevates, I am honored by the overwhelming support we’ve received from the community,” said Attorney Thomas J. Henry. “Each donation that was made, no matter how big or small, will make a tremendous difference. These funds will help support SAFE Alliance, Superhero Kids and the St. David’s Community Fund continue their work in transforming the lives of so many in the community.”
