As a first-generation attorney, Adrian Velasquez carries the values and resilience passed down from his grandparents, who immigrated to the United States with nothing but determination and a vision for a better future. Inspired by their sacrifice and the hardworking family they built, he has always felt a deep responsibility to give back—not just to his own family, but to others facing life’s challenges. This commitment has shaped his approach to law: to stand by his clients during difficult times and fight to protect their rights with compassion and integrity.
Adrian was born and raised in Houston, Texas, where he spent his childhood in a close-knit household as one of five siblings. As the second oldest, and the first in his family to attend and graduate college, he earned his degree from the University of Houston, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a double major in Economics and Political Science. He is proud to be a first-generation college graduate and attorney.
Today, Adrian lives and works in San Antonio, where he practices law with Thomas J. Henry. He brings to his work a strong sense of purpose, rooted in being hardworking, principled, resilient, and dedicated. Adrian is fluent in both English and Spanish, which allows him to connect with and advocate for a broader range of clients.
Every client he represents is treated with the same care, respect, and commitment that he would extend to his own family.
