Mr. Jack V. Genovese is a results-driven attorney with more than 35 years of legal experience.

Mr. Genovese earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law at Hartford. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana. Immediately after graduating law school,

Customer-focused and results-driven, Mr. Genovese has demonstrated exceptional skills in litigation, personnel management, and law firm operations over the course of his long and distinguished career. Immediately after graduating law school, Mr. Genovese worked as an associate trial attorney with a New Haven-based firm handling a caseload consisting primarily of personal injury matters and insurance defense. He handled all aspects of litigation, from file inception to case resolution, including client contact, discovery, depositions, motion practice, legal research and writing, negotiation, jury selection, and courtside trials.

Within only four years of acquiring his Juris Doctor, Mr. Genovese had secured a position as a managing trial attorney with a law firm based in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, during which time he conducted staffing and performance management, reviewed files, and participated in case conferences. In 2004, Mr. Genovese moved to Glastonbury, Connecticut to work for a major, multinational finance and insurance corporation, again working as a managing attorney before being promoted to regional manager. As regional manager, Mr. Genovese oversaw six staff counsel offices in the Mid-Atlantic region, including offices in Philadelphia and Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; Berkeley Heights and Mt. Laurel, New Jersey; Hunt Valley, Maryland, and Richmond, Virginia. He managed a team of more than 75 attorneys, paralegals, and support staff as they pursued more than 3,000 workers’ compensation claims and 800 general liability cases.

In 2017, he made the move to Atlanta, Georgia, ultimately serving as Vice President and General Counsel for another insurance provider, providing guidance and counseling directly to the company’s executive management team, negotiating with service providers, and managing litigation against the company. He was also responsible for overseeing the company’s human resources department, including employee benefits, employment matters, and employment litigation.

Mr. Genovese began working at Thomas J. Henry Law’s Corpus Christi offices in 2020 where he serves as a Group Director for the firm.
