Ketzia Acosta is a passionate and results-driven attorney practicing in the areas of personal injury and family law, with a deep commitment to guiding clients through some of the most difficult and emotionally charged periods of their lives. Her approach is grounded in empathy, attention to detail, and a strong desire to create lasting positive change.
Although Ketzia was formally admitted to the Texas Bar in October 2024, she brings over two years of meaningful legal experience gained while working in law firms prior to licensure. Her hands-on background includes conducting depositions, managing deposition preparation, completing and serving discovery, and drafting a range of legal documents—from contracts and wills to motions and petitions. She has also played a vital role in trial preparation, giving her a solid foundation in litigation from day one of her legal career.
Ketzia’s path to the legal profession is rooted in her desire to make her time on earth count by impacting lives in a meaningful way. She was drawn to law through her natural sense of compassion and empathy, and is particularly fulfilled by helping clients navigate trauma, loss, or family conflict with strength and support.
A graduate of the University of Houston, Ketzia earned her B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. She has also completed 40 hours of mediation training, meeting the qualifications for mediation certification—an asset she brings into both her personal injury and family law practice.
Originally born in Iowa and raised just outside Boston, Massachusetts, Ketzia has called Houston home since 2017. She is known for being assertive, resilient, and highly adaptable under pressure, balancing high caseloads and tight deadlines with precision and poise.
Outside of the courtroom, Ketzia is a passionate advocate for animal rights and environmental preservation. She is also an avid aquarium and fishkeeping enthusiast, bringing the same care and attention to her hobbies that she applies in her legal practice.
