He attended Scotlandville Magnet High School and shortly after graduation he pursued higher education at Southern University in Baton Rouge, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science with a Scientific option. This early academic experience laid the groundwork for his technical acumen and prepared him for a successful career in the world of IT.

Shawn’s academic pursuits did not stop there. Driven by a passion for justice and an interest in the intricate workings of intellectual property law, he enrolled at Texas A&M School of Law in Fort Worth, TX. Graduating with a concentration in Intellectual Property Law, Shawn not only acquired a rigorous legal education but also developed a keen insight into the challenges and opportunities at the intersection of technology and law.
